About Me

As a Software Engineer, one of the things that Saima enjoys doing is deep dives into the heart of complicated architectural problems and finding interesting & effective ways to simplify it. She’s always ready for a new challenge!

Saima was born and raised in the beautiful coastal city of Karachi, Pakistan and was then lucky enough to attend the University of Miami to study Math & Economics. She’s a proud Hurricane through and through and especially happy to share her alma mater with The Rock! On the weekends, Saima enjoys reading the classics, keeping up with the Pakistan Cricket team, and cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

• Served as a Teaching Assistant at Girl Develop It (Boston Chapter): Intro to React (Spring/Fall 2018)
• Made runner up at the 2017 Pakathon along with her friend Khurram for their project Aur Sunao
• Gave a lightening talk at Women Who Code on the topic of the Agile Testing Pyramid
• Hosted an interactive “How the Internet Works” workshop for a group of minoritized middle school Summer Interns as part of the Apprentice Learning program.
